Not happy with the connection have to place the pump on its side to stop the connection tube from kinking there should be a right angle connection piece to the pump to avoid this. Also the seal to the pump is a bit iffy and I think this will be a problem as the plastic looses its flexibility as it gets older as any movement on the pump and tubing now will cause the air to leak, photo attached

Thanks for the review. We appreciate your feedback. We had a look at the pic you have supplied too. From this, we can see that the bladder is not installed where it needs to be, as we can see it is overhanging the edge of the bed. Please adjust the bladder placement to be in the centre of your bed base so it can lift as intended. The motor, placed on its side, is up to you, but it will work as intended, placed flat as well. The kink issue you have described is overcome in the inlet hose design, and it will cope with this situation.
The outer hose is the same material as the bladder, which is quite strong and will last for a very long time. It is designed this way to reduce points of failure in the air chain and increase reliability. To seat the inlet hose correctly, place a small amount of cooking oil on the tip of your finger and run it around the collar ring on the silver part of the hose. Then, holding the hose in place, seated in the outlet, connect the locking ring. Gently at first to find the thread, then hand tighten to the bottom without twisting the outer silver hose.
