How big is a Bedezy Bladder? 

Bedezy bladders are slightly smaller (a few centimetres all round) than the corresponding mattress they are designed to fit under. 
This allows enough space for the fitted sheet to fit the mattress correctly. The elastic will gather unimpeded under the mattress, allowing the top sheet to be tucked into the elastic to hold in place as well. All while remaining stable at the fully inflated height, between 250mm and 300mm higher than where the mattress normally sits on the bed base. 

Does your equipment raise beds? 

If you need an adjustable bed, you should continue your search, as the Bedezy mattress lifter is not designed for that.

Bedezy mattress lifter lifts the entire mattress for the sole purpose of aiding someone to change bed sheets by lifting the mattress to working height. 

Will Bedezy lift the Mattress and a Person? 

Bedezy is not designed to lift a person on a mattress. That is a different function of patient care, and products are designed specifically for that. 

Can I use Bedezy on an adjustable bed base? 

Yes, Bedezy will work with adjustable bed bases. The only thing to keep in mind when installing Bedezy is to place the pump and hose as high as possible on the bed base in the middle. 
This prevents the air hose from overextending between the pump and bladder when the bed's head is elevated. 

How much can Bedezy lift?

Bedezy is designed to lift any commercially available domestic mattress sold in Australia. It has been designed and tested to lift over 120 Kg.

How can I lift a Koala Mattress, Tempur Mattress, AH Beard Mattress, Sealy Mattress, and Ecossa Mattress to make my bed? 

Bedezy can lift any commercially available mattress in any size available in Australia or New Zealand.

Why is Bedezy better than the $20 mattress wedges? 

Mattress wedges might be ok if you have an ensemble and the strength to push them between the mattress and bed base. 

After that, the mattress may sink slightly past the bed frame. Low strength in the hands and arms will make using these products harder. There is also a risk of damage to the mattress or bed frame. 

In some cases, the user still has to hold the wedge in place with one hand while trying to get the sheet on with the other. This design works in some cases, but it isn't always the right long-term solution. 

 

How High will Bedezy lift my mattress? 

That depends on several factors, including your mattress materials and density. The approximate lift is 30 cm. This is usually enough to clear the foot of most beds and, at the very least, make it easier to maneuver the sheet onto the mattress with both hands.  

Can it be installed on a slat base? 

Yes, be careful to test the movement of the hose and bladder, as these could pinch if you don't take proper care. Otherwise, the Bedezy Mattress Lifter will work without issue on a slatted base. 

Is Bedezy Noisy? 

No. We have redesigned the pump to be much quieter. We did this to meet requirements from the accommodation and service industry. We tested it to measure any detectable disturbance from inflating a Bedezy in a hotel room directly opposite the open room being serviced.

We detected no increase in noise above ambient levels. 

How do you connect the bladder to the pump?

Take care not to twist the outer hose over the inner hose. First, seat the silver flexible outer hose into the air port per the instructions. You may need to slip the locking ring back to get the hose seated more easily.

Holding the outer hose, carefully screw on the locking ring. Be careful not to twist the outer hose when moving the locking ring independently until it is hand-tight. Watch our video here for tips on connecting the bladder and pump.

Can I use Bedezy in North America? 

Sorry, but it's designed for 240V markets only. 

Where can I install Bedezy's Pump?

Sometimes, due to the bed base design, it's not practical to place the pump under the bed. The Bedezy Mattress lifter will work fine between the bedside tables and the bed, or even behind the bedside tables. Leave enough slack in the hose to allow the bladder to inflate. The hose can be kinked or crushed by the mattress; it's designed to work in cramped spaces. You can even pop the pump on its side if needed. Do not block the air inlet vent. 

How big is Bedezy's Pump? 

22 cm X 15 cm X 10 cm; it can be placed under or beside your bed base. The pump can also sit flat on the ground or on its side. You do need to ensure the air intake is not blocked by anything.  

Does Bedezy keep or resell any data? 

NO. We only retain the data you choose to share with us, along with the necessary details to provide proof of purchase and warranty information. After the warranty period, we will delete the remaining information to ensure long-term data security.   

I ordered the wrong size, Bedezy; what do I do now?
Unfortunately, because many order the wrong size, we can no longer offer shipping support for an exchange. If you have the wrong size, please keep the Bedezy sealed and undamaged and email us for the next steps. Return Shipping will incur a fee to return the original unit to us in saleable condition and send a correctly sized unit.

Can I get a Bedezy Mattress Lifter with government help?
You can do so if you are eligible for help from the state or federal government. Ask your NDIS, Aged Care Package Provider, or occupational therapist for more information.

Will Bedezy cost more if I get it on my government-assisted (Aged care, NDIS, AT-HM, CHSP) package? 

No, we work hard to keep the price as affordable as possible. In fact, we will discontinue a supply agreement if we find out that someone has charged more for Bedezy than what is listed on our website. We understand budgets are tight, and everyone needs more than just a Bedezy. Your budget is important, and we want it to go as far as possible to help you.

Where is the Bedezy Mattress Lifter from?
Bedezy is distributed from Wagga Wagga, NSW. Bedezy is also represented in Southeast QLD and Melbourne, VIC.

Do you have a real shop?
We do, by appointment only in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Please call 1300 2 333 99 to arrange a time to see Bedezy in person. 

Do you have an affiliate program?

No. These things add to the overall cost of business and increase prices per Bedezy. We believe that if you really want to help your client, you will recommend Bedezy if it is the solution that's needed. 

How do we become a reseller?

We are no longer entering into reseller arrangements. 

We work with a few smaller independent businesses, and they have been with us for some time. We share the same ethics. They are focused on client experience and outcomes, choosing people over profit.

So far, we've avoided the easier, well-trodden path of supplying large chain stores with Bedezy. We do this to keep prices down, keep the supply chain as short as possible, and maintain a high customer experience.  

Do you have, or can you enter into, supplier agreements?

Yes, if your agreement is tailored to our situation. We don't offer installation or have staff who can do so. If your agreement requires police checks and a list of services offered, we'll send it back because it isn't relevant to buying Bedezy. If your agreement is negotiating payment terms and dispatch times, please send it through. 

Can I talk to someone about the Bedezy Mattress Lifter?
Yes, you can; call our 1300 number or start a chat on our home page anytime during business hours.  

If I sign up for your site, will you fill my inbox with endless junk mail?
No, nope, not happening, never and no. We never share your information. We don't like getting junk mail, so we no longer send any. 

Is my data safe?
We use Shopify, the company that built our website and payment system. We trust them with our mother's credit card, so everything should be fine. If you're in doubt, stop, look, and let us know if there's an issue. That way, we can look into it, sort it out, and let you know when all is well.

How can I pay?
We offer credit card holders the safe and secure option of Shopify (Visa, Mastercard, or EFTPOS), PayPal, PayPal Pay in 4 and Afterpay. You can also pay via Direct Transfer through your bank. We'll process your order once we confirm your payment has cleared. Your confirmation will include the details you need to complete your order. We also accept cash in Wagga Wagga, NSW, or Sunshine Coast, QLD, where our team members are present. 

Orders that have not cleared payment within seven days will be deleted from the system.

Can we trial Bedezy?

There are 2 options available

Your client can take advantage of the 30-day love-it-or-send-it-back guarantee. Just make sure that you keep the box, just in case, and clean the area where Bedezy will be installed. Secondly, the provider can buy a unit to trial with many clients. The equipment is a cost of doing business and will ultimately help more clients stay with your service. 

How thick is Bedezy when it's deflated? It's about 7mm thick or less. 

Will I feel Bedezy under my mattress? (The Princess and The Pea?) No, you won't even know Bedezy is there until you use the remote to inflate Bedezy. Once it's deflated, you can enjoy your mattress as much as you would normally. Your mattress will not feel any different from having Bedezy under it. 

How much current will Bedezy draw? 

Bedezy's motor uses 1.4A @ 240V for approximately 30~45 seconds, inflating.

Deflating and Standby (Plugged into an ON wall socket). There is almost no electricity used.

Can I use Bedezy in my caravan?

 Yes, you can use Bedezy with an inverter, and no, it won't drain your battery setup at all.  Even if you are off-grid with a van and are on your battery and inverter setup, Bedezy uses very little power. Many caravan owners have added Bedezy to their setup, and they are very happy. 

Is Bedezy available to DVA participants? 

We are going to save you time, money, and disappointment. Bedezy is not part of the RAP list and is not supplied to the listed 3rd-party resellers. 

We have sought a direct supplier relationship with DVA for participants' benefit, but have been unsuccessful. We will keep the cost of Bedezy to the government as low as possible; unfortunately, we were not able to become a supplier for DVA.

The department would rather pay much more through other outlets we don't deal with than establish a direct supply agreement with an Aussie company. We are disappointed but sadly not surprised. 

Do you have sales, discount codes, specials or bundles? 

No. We only offer our best price. 

Can I get a deal for ordering 2 or more, or multi-buys? 

The value that Bedezy provides in improving the quality of life, increased independence and added choice far exceeds the price we are asking. Our price is always our best price. We don't do discounting, sales, seasonal deals or whatever. That stuff is too hard to keep track of, and we are not good at accounting to do it anyway. No sales, deals, gimmicks or multi-buys ever.
